Registrations for the annual Institute Alumni Reunion is up and roaring: it is very easy and takes one minute at here

  When we think of IIT days, what could be a bigger bond than the one for our hostel..... Hostel 8 takes great pleasure in Welcoming all "Woodland Champions". We are sure the memory of it still brings a smile to your face. Explore this website to relive your hostel days and catch a glimpse of how, despite everything, time has stood still in Hostel 8.

Hostel 8 had its 2 successful reunions of the 1985 batch first, shortly followed by 1970 batch, the first batch which passed out from H-8. Both the reunions were very special. The first one saw the launch of HATS Programme and the second one being the 1st batch of H8. All of you inspired us a lot and the fundae of life you gave were really very very helpful. We enjoyed the anecdotes very much and they are discussed till this day in the hostel.

Hostel 8 pioneered the Laundromat project after months of brainstorming to overcome the problem of hanging laundry in hostel corridors. 4 washers and 6 dryers have been installed, and inauguration took place on 25th August 2012. Click here for Project report and here for inauguration report.

 The Hostel is going to host another grand reunion this coming december, silver jubilee for the batch of '86. Please mark your calendars, and be a part of the most memorable evening you'll ever have.
